Cambuhat Oyster Farm Tour | | | | | | | | | | | Up north of Bohol is Cambuhat River in Buenavista town. In this nipa-lined river is an oyster farm. Onboard a canoe paddling upriver, your boatman will proudly explain to you how these oysters are cultured and how this has become one of the source of livelihood for the community.
Other activities in this tour include interaction with the locals as they happily demonstrate their daily routine of loom weaving, raffia weaving, broom making and many more. Lunch is included in this tour. Obviously, the main dishes are oysters prepared in a variety of ways by the community. |
