Nalusuan Island
has been a well-established destination on the local island
circuit for years. The owners of the island have designated
the area surrounding Nalusuan Island as a Marine Sanctuary
for several years.The swimming area is well protected
so it's excellent for kids. |
Upon arrival on the island
you pass by a large man-made salt water pool that contains
a variety of local marine life, Sea Turtles, Lapu-Lapu
(a local species of grouper) and other species can be
observed.

Caohagan Island
WHITE SAND AND WARM WATER Kaohagan
Island is home to a wonderful triangular shaped beach
that is bordered by crystal clear water on two sides.
The sand extends in to the water for a good distance making
this the perfect place for swimming and wading. |
Take a stroll through the
village located on the third side of the beach and experience
a taste of Philippine Island life. The villagers are more
than happy to show you some local arts and crafts. The
local government of Kaohagan island has passed a law preventing
vendors from accessing the beach. This assures that you
will have a peaceful and relaxing visit without being
disturbed by people trying to peddle their wares.

Hilutungan Island
EXCELLENT SNORKELING ADVENTURE FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY The
western side of Hilutungan Island has recently been designated
as a Marine Sanctuary by the Municipality of Cordova.
This protected area provides an undisturbed habitat for
various marine species to feed and reproduce. |
The shallow waters within
the sanctuary are excellent for snorkeling adventures.
A wide variety of corals (hard and soft), reef fish and
invertebrates are easily visible to a snorkeler in 2 to
3 meters of water. Watch for the occasional Blue Spotted
ray.
